Bernina Repair Centre

Bambers are a Bernina repair centre and a Main Agent for Bernina UK. We repair and service hundreds of Bernina sewing machines each and every year. We’ve been doing so since the 1950’s, when Roy Bamber placed his first Bernina order.

Our large and well equipped workshop is staffed by expertly trained and knowledgable staff. We also carry hundreds of genuine Bernina parts. This is the key to proper care for your trusty Bernina. So no Bernina leaves our workshop before it reaches our standards of service.

Generally speaking, our turnaround times on repair and service work is 10 – 14 days and we always phone with a free estimate. We consider two things when it comes to repairs, something we learned from Dad, is any repair worth the customers money and is it worth our time. So, in the unusual event that we feel your Bernina isn’t worth repair, we’ll tell you.

As well as our work with the general public, we also repair and service Bernina sewing machines for many schools and colleges. We will collect your classroom Berninas and return them to our workshop for attention. Again, this is a service we’ve provided since the 1950’s and we’ve become very popular with textiles teachers and technicians. So much so that most schools book their service up to 12 months in advance. Turnaround time is usually 7 days for up to 20 machines. If you have more than 20 machines it will take a little longer, 7 – 10 days.
