It’s that time of year again…
For as long as I can remember, the end of August is the time to start sending out the new sewing machines and overlockers/sergers that schools and colleges have ordered from us over the summer.
This is a batch of 20 Bernina 1008S sewing machines that are waiting to be collected and then delivered to a school in Yorkshire. So, come the new term there will be a very happy textiles teacher and, hopefully, a bunch of happy students.
We’ll be sending new sewing machines out every day for the next week or two and it’s good to see that some schools are keeping textiles alive.
