The mornings grow lighter and it seems to make the journeys shorter. Setting off in the dark of a winter morning makes a day longer. The you set off at the same time and its light. Anyway. Our customer has become a regular customer, a nice chap with a couple of PR’s. So todays run – a Brother PR655 service in Lincolnshire.
On arrival we chat with our customer about the problems with his Brother PR655. Tension issues, one needle not sewing properly and perhaps a timing issue. We listen to his concerns and note them down.
The benefit of Steve and I travelling together on our Wednesday trips, is we can share everything. From the false of coffee, to carry these heavy Brother PR’s in and out of customers houses, shops and units. And this Brother PR655 Service in Lincolnshire is no different. Steve and I carry the machine from a garden workshop, down a long driveway and into our VW van. Easier with two!
We have many Brother PR customers in the fair county of Lincolnshire. It is one of my favourite areas to visit. Long and winding A roads cutting through farmlands and quiet rural villages. A welcome change from the M6 or the dreaded M25.So I take a few snaps to illustrate the report.
Once we return our customers PR to our workshop we will strip it down and go through our regular process. Fully cleaned and all tests and checks and resets carried out. Worn or damaged parts replaced. A range of factory lubricants will added to various mechanisms before the test sews begin. Once completed the PR will be returned to our customer the following Wednesday.
