Brother PR680W Service in Liverpool

The Brother PR680W service in Liverpool had been booked by a phone call. A slot was arranged for the collection and the day came around. So Steve and I loaded up the van and set sail to our destination. We have numerous customers dotted about the Merseyside region. Many of them running successful embroidery businesses. Some of them have grown to a significant degree. All of them, however big or small, produce a similar range of embroidery work. This includes,

  • Workwear
  • Sportswear
  • Baby wear
  • Corporate wear

Burtonwood Services

The drive along the M62 was uneventful. The weather grey and overcast. Although the journey was reasonably short, we made a pit stop at the Burtonwood Services. A convenient stop and a chance to buy a few sandwiches and a couple of cans of pop. The price was astronomic…

Queensway Tunnel

We were soon driving through the streets and roads of Liverpool. And then the mouth of the Queensway Tunnel appeared, and swallowed us up. It goes on a bit, and bends this way and that. And you keep expecting the next bend to lead you out to daylight. Eventually, you get there.

Brother PR680W Service in Liverpool

We pulled up outside the house of our customer. Now on this occasion, she had bought her Brother PR680W from us. So we’d arranged to provide her with one of our loan PR machines. As a consequence, her downtime will be dramatically reduced. She can carry on with production while we service her PR680W in our workshop. And then return it one week later. We like to do a proper job, you see. Back in our workshop we have all the tools and gauges. In addition to which we keep all the main parts and accessories.

We were greeted by a nice smile and, for once, her machine was on the ground floor. So an easy carry out and back in for Stevie and I. A brief chat about any issues with the machine, and then we were away. Back to our shop in Manchester. Although this Brother PR680W service in Liverpool was a local call, Steve and I regularly cover most of the country. Each week you’ll find us up in Edinburgh, or maybe somewhere in Norfolk. We often visit customers along the south coast. And the North East is a happy hunting ground.
One area we do avoid is anywhere within the M25. It is, as any traveller will tell you, a nightmare to cross.

A New Brother PR680W Delivery

Earlier in the day, we had set off first to Prestwich, in Manchester. We had to deliver a new Brother PR680W six needle embroidery machine. This time it was to a young couple with plans to build a home embroidery business. It made a change to have such a local call. Our last trip included the collection of a ten needle Brother PR1000e from a lovely lady in Taunton, Devon.

On arrival we were met by a nice young chap. Steve and I carried his PR680W upstairs and into the new embroidery room. We followed that by carrying up the Brother PR Stand included in the order. They make a nice team, the PR680W and the stand, I mean. All set up, we began the tuition. A step by step process that includes,

  • Threading Top & Bottom
  • The importance of Thread Guide
  • The role of the Tensions
  • Using the Designs and Fonts on the Control Screen
  • Using the Editing Tools
  • Fitting and Using the Embroidery Frames
  • Lubricating the Hook
  • General Maintenance of the machine

On this occasion, our customer had also ordered the Brother PE-Design 11 embroidery software. Questions were asked, and answers provided. We demonstrated the PR680W and set it sewing out some embroidered text. A nice cup of frothy coffee was provided, and everyone was happy.
Steve and I said our goodbyes.
