Bamber Sewing Machines Manchester

Bamber Sewing Machines is a family business. Roy Bamber started the ball rolling back in 1946 in post-war Salford and was later joined by his two sons, Alan and Steven. As a family business we care about our customers and always try our best to offer an excellent service. Back in the 1950’s we became main agents for Bernina sewing machines and we’ve remained so ever since. We also supply Brother and Janome sewing machines and their accessories.

Our store is full of wonderful sewing, quilting and embroidery related items and you are welcome to call on us any time you like. We are open Monday – Saturday from 9am – 5pm and we are not far from the famous Trafford Centre. Leave the M60 motorway at junction 11 and follow the signs for Eccles. We are approximately 400 yards from the motorway junction on the right hand side of the road. We even have a small car park at the rear of the building.

As well as offering the Big 3, Bernina Janome and Brother sewing machines and accessories, we also offer all kinds of haberdashery including general and quilting fabrics up on the first floor. The first floor is also home to our classroom where we offer many sewing workshops hosted by Lorna Knight and Celia Banks and others.

Back on the ground floor we have over 60 sewing machines and overlockers on show just waiting for you to call in and try. We also have our large workshop where every year we carry out hundreds of repairs to a wide range of sewing machines and overlockers as well as hundreds of machines from schools and colleges throughout our region.
