The Janome 2050 is a basic, but sturdy, sewing machine that benefits from a traditional raceway. It is a good choice for the beginner who is unsure if the world of sewing is for them.
For just less than £100 you get 12 basic stitches and a 4-step buttonhole. Don’t think you will be sewing curtains, heavy denims or quilting with the 2050. However, it will make a fair job of light to medium weight fabrics.
