Brother PR650 Bobbincase Fitting

Here’s a brief piece about placing your spool/bobbin in to the bobbincase of your Brother PR650. It’s just the same for the Brother PR600 & PR620. It’s only a guide and if you still aren’t sure how to fit your bobbincase, just phone or email for further help.

First, draw off 4 or 5 inches of thread from the bobbin, make sure the thread leaves the bobbin from the top.

Next, notice the fine slit on the body of your bobbincase. The thread will slide into this slit, later.

Next, take the bobbincase in your hands, holding the bobbin in place, and carefully open the latch about three quarters of the way open DO NOT force this latch. Then place the bobbincase inside your PR650.

Next, gently place the bobbincase inside the raceway of your PR650. Make sure it goes all the way in, as shown. Leave about 2 or 3 inches of loose thread hanging from the bobbincase and then close the raceway door without trapping the thread.
