Our range and stocks of fabrics are increasing all the time. Hardly a week goes by without a stream of fabric deliveries to our fabric department. Maggie, Kathryn and Janet are always trying to stock new and interesting fabrics for you to browse through.

Our fabric room used to be two separate offices, until we knocked them through and started to fill the place with fabrics. We do have plans to alter the layout of this room so we can double, triple or even quadruple our range of fabrics. It won’t happen overnight, but it will happen……………slowly.

As well as polycotton, sheeting, wadding etc, we also stock a colourful range of fleece fabrics. Next time you are in the area you should ‘pop-in’ for a browse. Our upstairs fabric and haberdashery department is fast becoming an ‘Aladdin’s Cave’ he sewing enthusiast.
We also have plenty of chairs around the place just in case you bring along a husband or boyfriend!

We are also stocking an increasing range of trimmings, which are selling well. The girls are forever posting out orders of all kinds of trimmings and it amazes me that someone in Texas will order a metre of trimming from our website. Although we are in Eccles, Manchester, our customers come from around the world.
Faux Tweed
I think it may have been Dennis Basso, on QVC, who introduced this ‘Faux’ word. Whoever it was, we also have some faux tweed available. It’s been quite popular!
Crushed Velour
Our crushed velour has also been a popular buy. Some use it to create their latest ‘vintage look’ outfit. Others use it for stylish and comfy cushions for the sofa or the bedroom.
