Janet Quilting
Popped upstairs to our haberdashery department the other day and blow me, there was Janet getting stuck into a bit of quilting. Janet had found some old ‘blocks’ and was busy sewing them togther to make a quillow.

Janet seemed quite caught up in the quilting process and, unusually, was very quiet. I was almost worried!

This quilting lark has never seemed so popular. So much so that Kathryn, our resident quilt club teacher, is always very busy with her regular quilt classes. We’re even taking a group of 30 (and counting) ladies down to the Festival of Quilts in a few weeks time. Kathryn has booked a nice coach to take us all down there.
If it’s anything like last year, we’ll all have a great day out!
